Hi, everyone! I'm so glad that you've found me in one of my many homes on the web! I'm Marie, a lover a good books, trainer of all the pocket monsters, and dreamer of being an elven princess. I'm the mom of one adorable little boy and survive mostly on coffee. My journey to the camera has been a long one, with many attempts to leave it behind. I started telling stories the traditional way, pen and paper. When words failed me, I resorted to finding other mediums. Truthfully, I can't draw or paint to save my life. The camera kept calling me back. After my first wedding, I was hooked, and the rest is history.

DoubleStar Photography, located in Douglasville, GA, is a portrait and wedding photographer with passion for sharing stories through images.
DoubleStar Photography grew out of a love for stories, and a passion for sharing those stories in the most beautiful manner. I fell in love with telling the stories of others at a young age, and through trial and error discovered that photography was the best way for me to share the stories of those around me. A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, and I would agree. A picture is a captured moment. I want to help make those moments last forever. Whether it's capturing your first moments with your new spouse, or helping you create your perfect headshot portfolio, I am ready to serve.
